I also wish the characters had a little more. One minute there off to find out what's wrong with the dog and then bam, a bunch of stuff happen (I hate giving to much detail in fear of spoilers), then bam mission over and book over. I do wish their could have been some more detail, it is a pretty quick read. I thought the plot was good and interesting enough. Well he did have Joe to help him get the hang of it all and not do something major crazy. He opened up quickly to the things going on around him and even though its hard to take it all in, Scott does. Manson had hidden some big things and Scott did not take it so well. So the world hides things and we all know there is some kind of hidden secret out there. I loved that they cared about the dog so much, and before they knew it, they went into an adventure they never thought of.
